Ray Tremblay

Head Coach

Ray grew up in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia, Canada where he played his minor and Junior hockey. After Junior hockey Ray made the jump to NCAA playing for SUNY Brockport, followed by several years of playing minor pro in the US and overseas.

After taking a few years away from the game, Ray was hired as the Head Coach of the Danville Dashers of the FPHL at the single A pro level. He took the last place team, rebuilt it, and turned it around to a record of 26 – 18 at the time of the COVID stoppage of 2020. Following the Stoppage Ray was head-hunted by the First place Elmira Enforcers as they hired him as their new Head Coach. Unfortunately, due to COVID, the 2020/2021 season did not take place.

That’s when Ray’s passion for the junior game ignited, helping build programs, and recruit back in his native British Columbia.

This past season Ray was the Head Coach and G.M for the Nashville Spartans, in their inaugural year in the USPHL Premier. The team had a fantastic first season boasting a 25-17 record in the powerhouse South East Division.

Ray joins us with over 20 years of Junior/NCAA/Professional hockey experience. He has a burning passion for the game, his work-ethic and communication skills are tailored for developing players and advancing them to the next level.

Ray currently resides in Vineyard, Utah.
